Although it is tempting, try not to overpack. Bring clothes that you can layer because weather is unpredictable in the fall - actually anytime in Paris. It can rain one day and be sunny the next. Bring mix and match items so you can switch it up without packing a lot of separate outfits. There is a washer in the flat but no dryer. I believe there is a laundromat across the street so we can wash clothes in the flat and take them to the laundromat to dry if needed.
I will be packing one bag to be checked and my carry-on will most likely be a backpack. This makes it easier to get around as I can wear the backpack and don't have to manuever two suitcases.
Definitely plan on bringing the following:
- Umbrella (small one easily packed)
- Coat - I bring a rain coat that keeps me warm without being too heavy
- Adaptor
- Phone Charger
- Camera Charger
- Camera cards for extra pictures
- Portable Charger as a back up
- Scarf
- Washcloth (washclothes are not usually available in Paris in my experience)
- Noise Reduction Earphones (Carry-on for plane)
